Abstract

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the use of modern technologies in financial markets. The aim of the thesis is to present the current trends in financial markets, especially focusing on traditional and innovative ways of investing. The first part of the thesis focuses on the theory and formulas that are used in the practical part. The second part provides an overview of current trends and technologies in financial markets. The practical part first compares three robo-advisors and then compares a Czech robo-advisor with a mutual fund. The main conclusion is that robo-advisor investing has outperformed various mutual funds over the last seven years.
