Vliv lidského kapitálu na ekonomický růst v zemích OECD

Abstract

The aim of the thesis ,,The Impact of Human Capital on the Economic Growth in OECD Countries‘‘ is to determine whether human capital have the positive impact on the economic growth in OECD countries for the period 2000 – 2011. There are used several methods in the thesis in order to achieve the aim – theoretical-deductive method, descriptive and correlation analysis and the key method for econometric modeling – the regression analysis. The thesis is structured into free main parts except the introduction and the conclusion. The first one contains a theoretical definition of human capital and economic growth. There is an overview of definitions and views on human capital. Second part presents the transition between the theoretical part of work and own analysis. There is performed a literature research in the area of human capital and economic growth. The third part is focused on examining the impal of human capital on economic growth in OECD countries using econometric modeling. The conclusion brings the summary of the empirical analysis results.
