Abstract

In the present thesis is discussed fundamental issues concerning the creep of metallic materials, the necessary creep tests with evaluation of their results and subsequent extrapolation of these results for obtaining long-term characteristics of the material. Also there are discussed modern types of steels, which are used for construction of new power plant units worldwide. In the second part of the thesis are evaluated using parametric methods, the value of creep tests modified modern chrome steel P91. The methods used are compared with each other and their results are then discussed with the values of the standards.
