Abstract
Presented bachelor´s work is concerning with key factors influencing the steel resistance against the hydrogen degradation effect in medium containing hydrogen sulphide. It is the point of steel resistance against the hydrogen induced cracking (HIC) and the verification of its influence on the chosen heats of monitoring sheets of the X52 grade. The chosen samples were evaluated in agreement with the NACE standard TM0284-03.
