Abstract

This thesis describes my fifty-day professional practice at the company RJ – BEST s. r. o. during the final year of my bachelor’s study at VŠB – TUO, Department of Electrical Power Engineering. My work partner and I dealt with revisions, maintenance of electrical devices and electrical installations. Occasionally, we also worked on issues concerning high voltage installations. In this thesis I mainly focus on the topics I personally found the most interesting and informative. The structure of the thesis includes both practical and theoretical knowledge. Individual tasks are described from both perspectives - the perspective I had when I was present during the solving of the tasks and an additional look on the tasks from a research point of view.
