Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is to perform a financial analysis of the company Ligranit, a.s. The first part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of the company and its surroundings, as well as the theoretical basis of financial analysis. The characteristics of the company describe not only the company, but also the geological subsoil around Liberec and the history of building and decorative stone mining in this region. The theoretical basis of financial analysis is devoted to data sources for the creation of analysis, horizontal and vertical analysis, ratios, Du-Pont pyramidal decomposition, creditworthiness and bankruptcy models. The second practical part is based on the theoretical section and contains an analysis of the calculated data of financial indicators. The final part deals with proposals, recommendations and overall evaluation of this work.
