Analýza cestovního ruchu v Jihomoravském kraji

Abstract

Thesis deals with the analysis of the tourism destination, specifically in the South Moravian region. This area is located in the southern part of the Czech Republic and it is a very popular tourist destinations. Its share of that has a convenient location, warm climate and diverse quantity of places of interest, which form an extensive tourist offer. The characteristic features of the region are formed a unique culture, traditions, wine and hospitality of local people. In the first part of my bachelor the theory concerning the given problems is described. The second part delineates the region and in the subsequent part its tourist offer is analysed. The project of the product for the potential visitors is also incorporated in the thesis. Recommendations leading to the improvement of the level of travel and tourism in South Moravia Region based on the analysis of primary and secondary offer and further on SWOT analysis together with inquiry were made. The analysis showed that, if tourists came into the region, they spend here one week or more, they came here repeatedly with own car. The problem is the condition of transport communications, which should be improved, because it is in bad condition. The lack of information services are seen as a major shortcoming and their improvements could increase the level of tourism.
