Abstract
This thesis focused on the occurrence of amphibians in the nature reserve Rezavka.
It includes more than eighty hectares situated in the middle of Ostrava on the territory circuit Ostrava - Svinov. Rezavka boundary formed from one side of the highway, from the other side of the railroad and the overall impression is enhanced thousand cars per day on the road Rudná.
Data collection and mapping was carried out in that area in the period from 1. 3. 2015 to 31. 10. 2015. Data collection included direct observation of individuals in the terrain and measurement of physical - chemical parameters of selected ponds.
The most commonly occurring species of amphibian in nature reserve Rezavka was the Frog - Pelophylax esculentus.
In selected areas of water (pond Rojek, the New pond, oxbows tributary Mlýnka) with pH ranged from 7.62 to 8.82 indicating a mild alkalinity, which could be caused by more intensive photosynthesis of aquatic plants and algae.
Dissolved oxygen is changed in relation to the actual temperature and conductivity. The average value of conductivity was 470,68 μS.cm-1 which corresponds to the values of surface and groundwater. Also the dependence of conductivity on temperature was evident - with increasing temperature conductivity increased too.
The presence of amphibians and physical - chemical parameters of waters indicate that the selected site is suitable areas and conditions for their survival and their further spread.
