Hodnocení technických zařízení pro průnik a hašení akumulátorů elektromobilů

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the issue of emergency response to electric vehicle fires, specifically the penetration into battery compartments and the application of extinguishing agents. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate available technical means designed for this type of intervention. The thesis also includes an overview of electric vehicles on the European market, their battery systems, and fire-related risks. An experimental part was conducted to compare the effectiveness of different methods for penetrating various battery covers. The results serve as a basis for recommending appropriate intervention strategies in the event of electric vehicle fires.
