Zbyněk Proske, Ph.D. The goal of this thesis is evaluation of the actual condition of rainwater drainage and to propose general and specific solutions for reduction of the rainwater drainage in the city district Ostrava – South. By exploring the territory and its actual condition in the area of rainwater drainage and problematics involved, the thesis is conceived as an analysis of the territory. Drawing involved in problematics of terain relief, geological subsoil, engineering network route and specific proposal are elaborated.
