Abstract
Target of this diploma thesis is evaluation of financial performance of the company MIKO International, s.r.o. for years 2008-2012. Evaluation is based on financial statements. Diploma thesis include five chapters. The first is introducion and the last is conclusion. The second chapter is theoretical part. The practical part is the third chapter where the company is introduced. This chapter also include horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow, followed by the ratiometric analysis of selected indicators. Evaluation of financial performance is also do based on rating and default models. Cost of capital are determined and economic value added is calculated. Next step is pyramidal decomposition of selected indicators and sensitivity analysis of the effects of selected economic value added. At the end of the chapter is a comparison of selected indicators of the company with the industry. Fourth chapter is evaluation of analysis´s results.
