Analýza vlastností fyzickej vrstvy technológie 5G NR s využitím simulácie v nástroji 5G-LENA simulator

Abstract

The thesis deals with the simulation of the physical layer of 5G mobile networks using open-source simulation tool 5G-Lena in the ns-3 enviroment. The first part documents the 5G-Lena module, its architecture, functional capabilities and integration withint the ns-3. The second part presents the design, implementation and debugging of three simulation scenarios which differ in their type of mobility. For each scenario, physical layer parameters and configured. The evaluation of results includes analysis of pathloss, SINR and BLER. The results showed that the decisive factor of transmission quality is primarily the frequency band and transmit power. The thesis also includes a sample laboratory assigment inteded for students of a specialized subject.
