Abstract
The subject of this thesis is assessment of employee motivation and engagement in a small printing company. Diploma thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter contains the introduction of the thesis, which explains the structure, objectives and importance of the issue of motivation and engagement. In the second chapter theoretical concepts of motivation and engagement are defined. The third chapter is focused on the characteristics of the chosen company. The fourth chapter contains an analysis of the current state of employee motivation and engagement of printing company. Data collection is accomplished with questionnaire survey. The fifth chapter includes suggestions and recommendations to the company management that come out from findings of the survey. The sixth chapter contains the conclusion of the diploma thesis that summarizes objectives and structure of the thesis and also suggestions and recommendations from the previous chapter. The main objective of the thesis is to find the level of employee motivation and engagement in chosen company, identify the factors that reduce employee motivation, engagement, job satisfaction and job performance and to provide some useful suggestions and recommendations to the company management that are relevant to the issue.
