Abstract

In the thesis there is an evaluation of the economic efficiency of investments of the town of Osek into equity participation in a business company. First, there is formulated the objective of the work. The second part describes the theoretical basis important for the evaluation of the work, such as characteristics of the municipal budget, a description of the indicators of economic efficiency of the project. The third part describes the reasons for equity participation in the business company, then the current situation of the city's budget and also information about the business company. Another chapter focuses on funding the investment. In the fifth chapter there are made the calculations of indicators of economic efficiency. Finally, the investment of the town is evaluated on the basis of the calculated values.
