Abstract
This master thesis focuses on extending the K2 IS by visualizing warehouse spaces and optimizing warehouse picking routes. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the process behind designing and implementing a visualization component that allows graphical representation via grid map. The second part is devoted to the development of a web API that calculates an optimal route based on the warehouse map and other relevant data. Based on the computed optimal route, an estimate of the expected duration of the warehouse task is made. The final part of the work focuses on analyzing the differences between the predicted and actual measured picking times.
