Master´s thesis deals with road accidents in Ostrava. The goal of this work is select 3 locations with the highest akcident rates in the last two years. It may be a road sections or crossroads. For this locations selected according to specific kriteria will be made ananalysis. What are the main causes of tradic accidents depending on the type of communication, width configuration, structural and technical solutions, the weather and time of day. Aftert that will be made possible proposals to improve the situation and to minimizing accidents.
