Postavení Islandu v rámci evropské integrace

Abstract

Téma diplomové práce bylo zvoleno z důvodu zjištění, do jaké míry je Island zapojen do evropské integrace, přičemž evropskou integraci chápeme především jako Evropskou unii. Práce je členěna do tří hlavních kapitol. První hlavní kapitola diplomové práce „Integrační předpoklady islandské ekonomiky“, charakterizuje postavení Islandu ve světové ekonomice a faktory mající vliv na jeho účast v evropské integraci, včetně postavení Islandu v mezinárodních institucích. Ve druhé hlavní kapitole „Islandská integrační spolupráce“ je rozebrána integrační spolupráce Islandu v rámci ESVO, EHP a Schengenském prostoru. „Island jako kandidátská země EU“ je poslední hlavní kapitolou analyzující vzájemný vztah Islandu s Evropskou unií, včetně predikce postavení Islandu jako člena EU.

The thesis topic was chosen in order to be found the extent to which Iceland is involved in European integration and European integration is understood primarily as the European Union. The work is divided into three main chapters. The first major chapter of the thesis "Integration assumptions Icelandic economy", characterizes the position of Iceland in the world economy and factors affecting their participation in European integration, including the position of Iceland in international institutions. The second main chapter "Iceland integrative cooperation" is analyzed in Iceland integration cooperation within the EFTA, EEA and the Schengen area. "Iceland as a EU candidate state" is the last major chapter analyzing the relationship Iceland with the European Union, including the prediction of the position of Iceland as a EU member.
