Abstract
Information visualization is a separate discipline of scientific studies that addresses the problem of
visual representation of collections generally non-numeric values. Its main purpose is to convey
information to the user clearly and effectively through graphical interface. Collections of data are
usually represented by different types of graphs that can show for example a relationship between
documents of collection.
This bachelor thesis provides a theoretical introduction to problems of search for similarities in
the different media types. The practical part is focused on the design and implementation of
component that would be able to visualize the dependencies between documents in order to detect
plagiarism. This component is based on technology .NET and Silverlight.
