Abstract
The thesis isaimed to theimportanceof tax revenues in thebudgetsofmunicipalities in the Czech Republic and in theSlovak Republic. Thefirst part ofthe thesis describesmunicipalities and the budget of municipality. Next part isdevoted to tax revenuesfollowed by theanalysis and comparisonofthemunicipalities in the Czech Republic and in theSlovak Republic. Thentheimportanceoftheindividual tax revenues in municipalbudgetsisevaluated. Theaimis to compare and evaluatetheimportanceof tax revenues in chosenmunicipalities.
