Abstract
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is a literary analysis of the current knowledge of the chromium nickel stainless steels manufacturing alloyed with nitrogen gas.
The first chapter is devoted to the characteristics of chromium nickel stainless steels. There is explain the principle of the corrosion resistance of steel and the effect of the steel structures and the alloying elements on corrosion and mechanical properties of stainless steels.
The second large part is focused on theory and technology of production of steels alloyed by nitrogen gas. There are explained the concept high nitrogen steels and summarized the main advantages of nitrogen gas alloying and the thermodynamic conditions for nitrogen solubility in the melt steel. The next chapter provides the possibilities of production of alloyed steels by nitrogen gas but also solid additions as is silicon nitride, etc., and the fundamental processes used in the Czech Republic.
The conclusion summarizes the major findings of literary analysis and evaluation of the possibility of using nitrogen gas in the alloy stainless steels.
