Obchodní politika EU se zaměřením na USA

Abstract

The topic of the bachelor thesis is EU Trade Policy with focus on relationships between the European Union and the United States of America. Aim of the bachelor thesis is defining mutual trade and investment activities between the EU and the U.S. in years 2004 to 2009. Attention is concurrently focused on tariff precautions that restrict free trade. The thesis comprises three thematic chapters. The first deals with the EU common trade policy. There are explained the circumstances of the common trade policy origin, its legal basis, structure of business relationships and also its instruments. The second chapter contains the position definition of the EU and the U.S. in the global economy and developement of their mutual relations. The last chapter focuses on international trade between the countries concerned. According to statistical data published by the Eurostat, the central task was to define the development of trade between the EU and the U.S. in years 2004 to 2009, both in goods and services, and in the field of foreign direct investment. Conclusion of the chapter is devoted to tariff precautions.
