Abstract

My diploma thesis deals with business processes and their automated management - workflow. At the beginning describes the basic terms related tothis topic. The thesis also describes in detail the basic methods for modeling business processes, methods for improving processes (Business Process Reengineering and Business Process Improvement) and methods for process specification. In the following text are described tools for modeling and managing business processes. Betwen these tools I have included Microsoft Visio 2013, ARIS Platform, jBPM and SAP. To outline of this issue, I created an application that provides full-featured environment for modeling, management and monitoring, To outline of this issue, I created an application that provides fully fledged environment for modeling, management and monitoring, and thereby I showed in practical example workflow systems. The last part of this work includes detailed design and analysis of the application and other program documentation.
