Vliv vzdělanosti na nezaměstnanost na českém trhu práce

Abstract

The aim of the thesis "The influence of education on unemployment on the labor market in the Czech Republic" is to evaluate whether increasing education of the population positively affects unemployment in the Czech Republic, in the context of the employment structure. The thesis consists of free thematic chapters. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the theory of human capital, to the development of views on this theory and, above all, to the methods of its measurement. The third chapter is devoted to analyzing the development of education and unemployment in the Czech Republic and also to a comparative analysis of selected indicators of the EU. The last chapter offers a descriptive analysis of indicators related to employment according to the level of education attainment, as well as a comparative analysis of these indicators with available indicators for the Moravian-Silesian Region. On the basis of the analysis was found, that the increasing level of educational attainment affects the participation of people on the labor market, as well as their employability.
