Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a demonstration model of a computed tomography for educational purposes. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the principle and construction of a computed tomography. The literature search discusses scientific articles focusing on the construction, design of a computed tomography model and the use of field programmable gate arrays for image reconstruction. The practical part deals with the design and implementation of a computed tomography model. Based on the design of the mechanical part of the model, the parts are made on a 3D printer, assembled and calibrated. The electronic part is focused on the creation of a laser system with a detector, a computed tomography base plate and other important electronics. Furthermore, a Field Programmable Gate Array architecture for Cmod S6 is created to control the model. It is individual processes are discussed in the work. The following is a description of the user's use of the image reconstruction model in Matlab. The last part of the work is devoted to experimental verification of the model. For this purpose, phantoms are created, which statistically evaluate the fidelity of image detection and the displacement of individual axes.
