Sledování únavy při rehabilitaci s platformou Vibramoov

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the potential use of near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) for monitoring muscle fatigue during rehabilitation using the Vibramoov vibration platform. The aim of the study was to determine whether muscle fatigue occurs during rehabilitation using this method, and whether fNIRS can detect such changes. In the experimental part, measurements were performed on 18 healthy subjects. fNIRS optodes were placed over the belly of the right biceps brachii muscle, and the Vibramoov modules were applied to the distal tendons of the biceps brachii and triceps brachii muscles. Vibration was applied for 15 minutes in the standard FPS (functional proprioceptive stimulation) mode. From the recorded data, the time courses of oxyhemoglobin (O2Hb), deoxyhemoglobin (HHb), their sum (tHb), and their difference (O2Hb – HHb) were evaluated. The analysis showed that the differential hemoglobin did not exhibit significant trend changes during stimulation; however, individual participants reached locally negative values, which may indicate a temporary predominance of oxygen consumption over its delivery.
