Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis are descriptions of short-circuit appearances and calculations of short-circuit current in a three phase systems applied on practical example of industrial plant. The introductory section provides the definition of short circuit, causes of short circuit appearances and also uses of symmetrical factors for their calculations. The following chapters introduce short-circuit calculations methodology according to regulation ČSN EN 60909. The final chapter contains detailed example of short-circuit calculation of single distribution points in industrial plant. Used parameters are featured in symmetrical quantities.
