Zhodnocení vlivu silniční dopravy na kvalitu ovzduší v oblasti Hlučínska

Abstract

This diploma thesis refers to the influence of road transport on air pollution in Hlučín area, specifically in the Bolatice area. The thesis deals with evaluation of legislative documents for air quality protection at national and European level. It describes the effects of road transportation on air quality. The research part follows up the actual collection of traffic intensity data and the determination of the impact of this source on air quality in the area of Bolatice. Traffic emissions were compared with emissions from local heating. These emissions were also counted and evaluated. The resulting values are compared with the study Industrial Pollution Monitoring Information System in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The results of own calculations are that the major producer of PM and NOX emissions is transportation, and CO and SO2 emissions are more produced by local heating.
