Abstract

The subject of this bachelor´s thesis is evaluation of the purchase and supply system in company Váhala Ltd. The company is concerned with delicatessen and meat products sale and production. In the theoretical part the thesis addresses basic purchase and supply terminology. In the practical part it describes both the history and present state of the company. Further, it defines the purchase system and company operation based on provided materials. Subsequently, it provides a description and analysis of suppliers of selected raw materials. It analyses turnover and time turn of the raw materials. Lastly, it evaluates the purchase and supply system on the basis of calculations, and offers suggestions and recommendations in the end.
