Analýza a zhodnocení vybraných nástrojů aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti v okrese Šumperk

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of selected tools of active employment policy in Šumperk district. The aim of the thesis is to find out which active employment policy tools are used in the Šumperk district to reduce unemployment and which of them are used the most within the period of 2018-2022. Comparison of tools being used in Šumperk and Prostějov districts in terms of similarity and dissimilarity is another partial aim of this thesis. Last but not least, the aim of the work is to find out if the Šumperk district, as a district with higher unemployment, uses active policy tools in the fight against unemployment in a similar or completely different way to the Prostějov district. In the theoretical part, unemployment, its structure, types and consequences are defined. The legal regulation of the active employment policy including its instruments according to the relevant legal regulation is the core area of this part. The practical part is devoted to the characteristics of the investigated districts of Šumperk and Prostějov and, in particular, to the analysis of the active employment policy tools used there. Part of the practical part also includes supplementary information that was obtained in the interview with the head of the labor market department of the Labor Office in Šumperk. Further, an evaluation of the analyses results is presented. At the end of the thesis, a comprehensive overview of findings related to the issue is given.
