Konverze brownfields v polyfunkční centrum

Subject of this thesis is creating architectural study for building complex, which have been designed at a place of former textile factory in Brno – Obřany. Based upon previous studies, the original buildings were demolished, except the main factory object, which was rebuilt into the shopping mall. Three new residential buildings were added and they were designed to create compact space with public surroundings and the shopping mall. Due to its character, the new functions of the area should bring life and give it back a status of the centre of Obřany. During the creation, it was emphasized to use special locality position on man-made island in the middle of the Svitava river.
