Demografická a vzdálenostní charakteristika migračních toků na Slovensku

Abstract

My diploma work, named Demographic and distance characteristics of migrating flows, consists of two parts. The first part deals with evaluation of demographics data and the second part deals with current migrating processes in Slovak republic. General introduction describes and compares sources of demographic data of Slovak republic. Migration analyses are divided into two logical sections. First unit contains of demographic analysis of migrants according to the selection of social-demographics factors. Second unit deals with distance analysis of migrating flows and its visualizations. The aim of my diploma work is to lay out progress of changes in migration processes with using of unconventional methods and tools for analysis and visualization of migrating data through the medium support of geographic information systems.
