Vliv deflace na hospodářský růst

Abstract

Tato práce je rozdělena do teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část popisuje vznik deflace z pohledu různých ekonomických škol, její typy, důsledky, a poté shrnuje její vliv na spotřebitele a na ekonomický růst. V praktické části je pomocí kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření zkoumáno chování spotřebitelů v prostředí klesajících cen. Vyšlo najevo, že mírná deflace v řádu jednotek procent není pro ekonomický růst škodlivá.

This thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the rise of deflation from the view of different economic schools, its types, consequences, and after that sums up its influence on consumers and on economic growth. The practical part investigates the behaviour of consumers in the environment of falling prices by means of a quantitative questionnaire survey. It came to light that a slight deflation of the order of units of per cent was not harmful to the economic growth.
