Monitorování a správa sítí pomocí nástroje RRDtool

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is about creating a monitoring system in computer networks based on open source tool RRDtool. The RRDtool focuses on saving time-dependent data (for example temperature, memory usage, CPU load, network traffic) and it processes them into graphic form. RRDtool uses Round-Robin Database, which has a constant size. The SNMP protocol is used in this thesis for monitoring of networking devices. Designed monitoring system was tested in laboratory of computer networks.
