Monitoring a sanace termické aktivity na Odvalu Hedvika

Abstract

The presented bachelor's thesis deals with the risk analysis associated with an endogenous fire at the Hedvika mining waste storage site. The work characterizes natural and hydrogeological conditions, exploration of the surrounding terrain, thermometric measurements and monitoring. Part of the work is also devoted to the evaluation of risks associated with environmental impacts. Another part of the work consists of the economic side with recommended corrective measures in accordance with the suppression of endogenous fire and the modification of the affected site as a result of mining activity. In the last chapter, there is an evaluation of the progress of these measures, the current state of underground fires, a comparison and recommendations for remediation in the current conditions.
