Abstract

The dissertation work entitled the "Proposed actions aimed at water supplies at draught" deals with urgent issues of draught. In the theoretical part, information is collected from Czech and foreign sources and basic terminology is explained. There is also a summary of conclusions drawn within the studies which have been assessing impacts of climate changes on water supply systems in specific water basins of the Czech Republic. The goal is to evaluate possible impacts on supplies of drinking water and to propose best measures which could ensure the drinking water during draught when little water only is available in sources. Another goal is also to prepare options for possible supplies of drinking water to people. Persons and entities which need water for their business suffer from lack of water. This dissertation work can be used when dealing with this issue in future.
