Analýza míry využívání GIS technologií v rámci zpracovávání architektonických a urbanistických zadání

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on an analysis of how frequently GIS technologies are used for architecture and urban planning tasks. Goal of the thesis is to explore current situation of using and knowledge of these technologies among architects. Second goal of the thesis is a designing of demonstrative example how GIS technologies could be used for work in these fields. The example deals with creation of online map presentation using ArcGIS platform, specifically using ArcGIS StoryMaps. The main purpose of so called "map with a story" is to introduce the Karviná see master plan made by POLYCHROME - architecture platform and Doc. Ing. arch Eva Špačková, Ph.D.. The conclusion focuses on evaluation of found data and information and adds recommendations for this topic.
