Obchodní rejstřík a jeho význam pro podnikatele

Abstract

This diploma thesis describes the theoretical framework of the Commercial Register, covering its history, functions, electronization, structure, and the process of registration. Furthermore, it examines the Commercial Register from the perspective of entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic with the aim of evaluating its effectiveness for orientation and decision-making. The research confirms that the Register is crucial for the initial verification of business partners, focusing primarily on basic identification data and statutory bodies. Financial stability of partners is essential, with many entrepreneurs also checking financial statements. The finding regarding the frequent negative impacts of partners' financial problems underscores the importance of thorough verification. Statistically, it was proven that trust in the Register's reliability strongly influences the frequency of its use and the checking of financial statements (H2 and H3 confirmed). The thesis provides an analytical perspective from users, confirms the Register's role in risk management, and identifies areas for improvement (data timeliness, linking with other registers, user-friendliness). It thus serves as guidance for entrepreneurs and feedback for the Register administrators to enhance its effectiveness.
