Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to optimize a new production line using Lean Six Sigma methods, which focus on eliminating waste, standardizing work procedures and increasing process efficiency. As part of the solution, processes on the new production line were analyzed using tools such as spaghetti diagrams, material flow maps, time studies and the 5 S method. Based on these analyses, measures were proposed to increase the hourly output of the line. The thesis brings specific proposals for optimizing the layout of workplaces, standardizing operator activities and improving the organization of the working environment. The implementation of the proposed measures increased the capacity of the production line.
