Abstract
This thesis deals with the issue of private 5G networks. In the first theoretical chapter, this thesis mentions the general characteristics of the 5G standard, its architecture and the division of 5G networks according to the deployment method. Then the thesis deals with selected private 5G networks that are already implemented and running. In the second chapter, this thesis focuses on the practical simulation design and its subsequent optimization, concerning the 5G radio signal coverage of a specific object, which in this thesis is the Futureum in Dolní Vítkovice in the city of Ostrava. In the third chapter of this thesis, all the hardware elements that make up this 5G network are documented. The fourth chapter deals with the design, implementation and documentation of the interconnection of the 5G network core and the radio access network, where this implementation is subsequently verified through measurements. In the last chapter, this thesis focuses on the actual measurement of the parameters in the 5G radio access network in the Futureum facility under study, as well as the overall performance evaluation of the 5G network.
