Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the resulting values of the ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, elongation at fracture and absorbed energy including metallographic properties and chemical composition of the real orders pipes produced at the Small Mannesmann plant of the Válcovna trub- TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY a.s. (hereinafter referred to as the Válcovna trub) depending on the type of the normalization annealing furnace. The "C" grade steel S355J2H was selected as the material under investigation. The dimensions of tubes with a diameter of 88.9 mm and 114.3 mm, both in the walls 8.8 mm, 14.2 mm and 22.2 mm, were randomly selected. For the purpose of evaluating the microstructure, the fractured bodies were used from notch toughness test, where parameters such as phase proportion, grain size, structure uniformity and degree of banding were compared.
