The supervisor of bachelor thesis doc. RNDr. Karla Barcova, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis deals with radiation protection of radiological staff with the using of data and information provided at Clinic of nuclear medicine University Hospital in Ostrava. The aim is based on two parts which evaluate the current level of radiation pro-tection of people against ionizing radiation during manipulation with the sources of ioni-zing radiation. The theoretical part is focus on the biological effects of radiation based on human, the quantites associated with ionizing radiation and the legislation and principles of radiati-on protection. The practical part is about the protection of radiological staff, the monitoring program and especially the measurement and evaluation at positron emission tomography.
