Abstract

The dissertation with the topic The Proposal for Utilization of the Former Industrial Site Unitex is divided in five section, including an introduction and a conclusion. The first section is the introduction. The second section characterizes brownfields themselves, it describes problems connected with them, typology of brownfields, legistrature, the situation in the Czech Republic and the tools serving for regeneration of brownfields. The third section describes the former industrial area, its history, the current state, ownership relations, the size and description of the particular buildings. This section describes shortly also the town Hulín, where this area can be found. The fourth section deals with the proposal itself. It describes the particular objects, which are designed, building work necessary to perform this and the costs necessary for their realization. The section also includes the summary of whole costs and the time necessary for investment refundation.
