Abstract
The subject of the diploma thesis is the analysis of the current employee motivation system in the company Moravská zemědělská, akciová společnost (joint-stock company). The aim is to confirm or rebut the hypothesis: "The employees who are rewarded by their performance have higher work productivity than those who are rewarded with hourly wages regardless of their performance." The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical basis of motivation and work motivation. The second part deals with the analysis of the company, involves quantitative research in the form of standardized questionnaires combined with observations and interviews. The practical part contains graphical analysis and spreadsheets with research results. The last part of the thesis presents possible suggestions that can help to improve the motivation system of the employees in the company.
