Abstract
This thesis deals with the internship I carried out at the Railway Administration, s. o. during the academic year 2024/25. These mainly involved checking and maintaining a high-voltage DC switch, measuring the tortuosity of overhead lines, diagnosing a high-voltage cable feeding an electrical pre-heating device, etc. Finally, the acquired skills are compared with the theoretical knowledge and an overall assessment of the practice is made.
