Sledování vozidel pomocí GPS technologie

Abstract

This work deals with creating a vehicle tracking system for company TQM - holding s.r.o. engaged mainly in transportation activities. The entire system consists of mobile and web applications. Mobile applications are designed for PDA and is used to record vehicle route using GPS technology and also as a tool for recording driver contracts, which can be optionally signed by recipient. From these contracts is consequently generated a record of vehicle usage and from this record is driver's performance than assessed. In regular intervals, the positional information about the vehicle is sent to a server application, where the information is stored into the database. The web application shows data gathered from mobile application and it draws a route of mobile device and vehicle to selected date. The user entering the system in the role of the dispatcher is able to record vehicle usage and evaluate drivers activity.
