Abstract

The topic of this master's thesis is the assessment of the level of teamwork in a selected company. The aim of the thesis is to assess the current teamwork in the chosen company and, based on the findings, to propose suggestions and recommendations to enhance teamwork. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is dedicated to the methodology and methods used in the processing of the thesis. The next chapter presents concepts of human resource management, differences between a team and a group, types of teams, team composition, and effectiveness are defined. Lastly, teamwork itself, teamwork techniques, teambuilding, and meetings are introduced. The practical part presents the selected company, followed by an analysis of the current teamwork. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, suggestions and recommendations are made.
