Abstract

This Diploma thesis deals with occupational safety and health of selected work activities in the manufacture and servicing of fire extinguishers. The introductory part presents the basic concepts, the current OHS legislation and the procedure for risk assessment. The main part is familiarization with important safety requirements for selected workplaces and the actual analysis of their current status in terms of OHS including analysis and evaluation of risks by selected methods. The final part is devoted to the most important draft measures arising from a detailed survey of workplaces. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the OHS of selected work activities in the concrete manufacturing company, to carry out risk assessment, including draft measures to prevent risks.
