Abstract

The subject of the thesis is the risk management system - risk typology, risk management phase and methods used for risk analysis and assessment. The aim of the thesis is to improve the management of risks in the field of railway constructions, using the international standards ISO 31000 and FMEA methods. The proposed risk management approach eliminates shortcomings from the first stage of risk identification and thus improves the follow-up analysis and treatment of all identified risks. Proposed risk management system is more suitable to eliminate risks, making it a positive asset for future projects to help secure the company's profits.
