Abstract

Financial analysis is an important part of financial management. The main task of financial analysis is to provide information about financial situation of the company, evaluate their prospects for the future, and recommend solution to improve the financial situation. The aim of this bachelor thesisk is assessing the financial health of the company J. P. Plast from 2006 - 2011 using financial ratios and profitability ratios pyramid decomposition equity. The first chapter focuses on the theoretical basis of financial analysis. The second chapter presents the selected company, including horizontal and vertical analysis of returns. The third chapter focuses on the quantification of ratios and pyramid decomposition of return on equity. In conclusion is evaluated their financial situation of J. P. Plast, s.r.o.
