Abstract

My thesis deals with optimizing inventory management for company THERMA FM, s.r.o., where size of inventory and its connection to funds are evaluated. THERMA FM s.r.o. and its product range are unveiled in first part. In theoretical part I focused on explaining basic theoretical starting points for inventory, management of inventory and methods of classification of inventory and ways of its management. Based on theoretical findings, inventory is classified using method ABC and method XYZ. Furthermore evaluation of current state of inventory management with suggestion for optimal solution with economic benefits are provided.
